• Christ Luteran Dorcas Guild Porkchop Dinner Saturday, March 13, from 4-7 p.m. at the Waverly Grade School cafeteria. Any questions call Rev. Keith Pereira at 435-9685.

March 21, 2010

• Friends of the Library Chicken Dinner Fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, bread, coffee or tea and homemade desserts (lots of pies) for $8 adult, $4 children under 12, children 3 & under FREE. Come support the library as we repair 97 years of wear.

March 27, 2010

• Waverly Lions Club 2010 Trivia Night saturday, March 27th at the Waverly Fire House located behind Casey's General Store on Prospect Street in Waverly. Doors open at 5 p.m., trivia begins at 6:30 p.m. Maximum of 10 players per team/table and a $90 entry fee. ($80 if paid before March 20th.) NO OUTSIDE COOLERS PLEASE. Cash prizes will be awarded. Reserve your table by calling Butch Stewart at 217-899-7663 or Pete Olson at 217-435-2791. Proceeds to benefit the Waverly Lions Club charitable activities.
